BLACK DAWG SEALCOAT ADDS MAINE TO THE PACK

Black Dawg Franchise Group proudly announces the award of their fifth new Black Dawg Sealcoat franchise sold in 2010.

Andrew LaVerdiere, owner of Mid-Maine Property Services – a commercial landscaping company serving Androscoggin, Cumberland, Know, Kennebec and Sagahadoc Counties – has joined the pack with Black Dawg Sealcoat of Mid-Maine. “I began getting requests for sealcoating from my customers and felt I needed help to deliver the quality my customers deserve.  I turned to Black Dawg because they have such a great reputation and powerful name recognition.  This is a perfect add-on to my landscaping operation,” said LaVerdiere.

LaVerdiere started Mid-Maine Property Services from scratch in 2004 and knows the challenges start-ups face. “I was never a big fan of the franchise thing, but Black Dawg is different – they’ve built a system that really works for the franchisee. There’s great support, a network I can rely on to deliver the best possible service to my customers and a Toll Free Call Center that makes my job easier.”

“I first found out about Black Dawg Sealcoat back in 2006 and have been keeping an eye on them, watching them grow, but I wasn’t ready. I had a lot on my plate getting my own company on track. But, now the time is right and I couldn’t be happier to get started.”

With the addition of Black Dawg Sealcoat of Mid-Maine there are now 11 Black Dawg franchises serving communities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Maine, Ohio and Kentucky with more planned for New Jersey and Virginia.

Founded in 2005 by former Air Force officer, Jack Child, Black Dawg Sealcoat has been recognized for its unique-to-the-industry Code of Ethics and business practices, and Jack was recently featured in “10 Ways To Build Your Personal Brand” on Entrepreneur.com
